The Better Man Leadership Mission is to contribute to the development of more inclusive, supportive leaders who show up as allies and use their power and privilege to transform corporate culture.

Why Focus on Men and Leadership?

Men are often not comfortable participating in diversity events because they are unsure of their role or concerned of saying something wrong. Better Man Leadership is a starting place for men without shame or blame to:

  • Understand healthy masculinity traits for inclusive leadership
  • Gain language and context to engage in discussions 
  • Leverage power and position to elevate women and minorities

What Is Heart-Based Leadership?

  • Emotional Literacy: The ability to acknowledge our emotions and to respond consciously.

  • Accountability: Taking responsibility for our words, choices, and impact — whether intended or unintended.

Who Attends the Better Man Conference?

Our content will focus on engaging men and the unique male perspective in inclusion and hierarchy. However, individuals who do not identify as males are invited to gain perspective on engaging men as allies.
